A large number of historic cultural objects, such as pieces of clothing, an extensive book collection, a large collection of photographs from the moor area and a unique Mediaeval vassals register in the "Collectie Brands" illustrate the history of the Province of Drenthe and the Drenthan moorland. Each item from the collection put together by Jans Brands in 60 years tells its own story.
