In spring the tender green entices us into the vastness of the moor landscape, which is now filled with the calls of the many thousands of mating and breeding birds or the babble of moor frogs. At the same time birches bud and bog mosses put out their star-shaped shoots. Every year bog mosses grow from their leaf tips and so herald plant growth in the former and rewetted moor areas. Many walks and expert excursions take you to discover the eventfulness of spring.
