The node system for bicycles is a flexible and intuitive signposting system for a cycle path network. A Dutch invention, it has now also been installed on the German side of the international Moor Nature Park. The bicycle node system enables cyclists to find their way using fixed signs, maps and signposts, which can be found at all intersections and forks in the road. Cyclists can set off without any kind of map, mobile device or other aid. The node system for cyclists is suitable for both spontaneous trips and pre-planned tours, and can be used as an easy way to create theme trails. Either way, a sequence of numbers is all that is needed for unambiguous directions.
